Navigating Downtown Baltimore's Transformative Urban Landscape

Date & Time: Wednesday, November 1st from 1:00 PM- 3:00 PM
Location: Downtown Partnership of Baltimore

Join us for a walking tour through the evolving urban landscape of Downtown Baltimore. With a staggering $6.5 billion in development potential, spanning transportation enhancements to monumental projects, the vibrancy of Downtown's neighborhoods is poised to soar to new heights. However, amidst this promise, stalled projects are scattered throughout the streetscape, awaiting public-private partnerships to move forward.

The heart of Downtown's transformation is the Bromo Arts & Entertainment District, a dynamic area featuring nearly 40 cultural attractions nestled in a 16-block radius. Adding even more to Downtown are the many University of Maryland Baltimore properties, a rejuvenated Lexington Market, and a growing residential population surging past 11,000.

Guided by Downtown Partnership of Baltimore's economic development team, this tour will cover the Central Business District (CBD) and the Bromo District. Engage in meaningful discussions as we assess the strides made and deliberate the fate of the projects dotting Howard, Baltimore, and Eutaw Streets.
